About the role
Quest Global's Materials Management team drives efficient material taxonomy and master data for oil & gas projects. The specialist prepares material taxonomy, assigns UNSPSC codes, de‑duplicates masters, creates bills of material and asset registers, and collaborates with stakeholders to optimize inventory. Bengaluru office, on-site work model.
What you’ll do
- Prepare material taxonomy and ensure attribute availability
- Identify and resolve duplicate material masters
- Assign UNSPSC codes and maintain material catalogues
- Create and execute bills of material for equipment
- Develop and maintain asset registers
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders for inventory optimization
What you’ll bring
- 1-5 years experience in oil & gas plant
- Knowledge of procurement cycle and cataloguing
- Experience with bill of materials creation
- Familiarity with taxonomy development
- Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Nice to have
- Oil & gas domain expertise
- Understanding of equipment spares and drilling/OCTG parts
