About the role
Quest Global seeks a Senior Material Master Specialist in Bengaluru to manage material taxonomy and master data for oil & gas projects. The role involves cataloging materials, optimizing inventory, and preparing bills of material using SAP S/4HANA. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring 6-8 years of industry experience.
What you’ll do
- Prepare Material Taxonomy and ensure attribute availability
- Identify duplicate Material Masters within the system
- Assign UNSPC codes and enrich material data from various resources
- Review EPL/RSPL for commissioning and lifecycle operating spares
- Prepare and execute Bills of Material for Oil and Gas Equipment
- Review P&ID, SLD, and Flow diagrams for technical information
- Manage obsolescence and preservation control
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding material cataloguing
What you’ll bring
- 6 to 8 years of experience in oil & gas plant
- Excellent knowledge in Procurement cycle
- Good Knowledge in Taxonomy development
- Experience in Bill of material
- Good experience in SAP S/4HANA
