Technology Support Engineer

About the role

Technology Support Engineer on Accenture's Kolkata team, responsible for resolving incidents, managing change requests, and maintaining operational stability of multiple business systems. The role designs, optimizes, and supports SQL/NoSQL databases, integrates cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP), and automates infrastructure with IaC tools while collaborating with vendors and service management teams. Kolkata, India, on-site office setting.

What you’ll do

• Resolve incidents and problems across business system components
• Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge‑base articles
• Collaborate with vendors and service management teams for issue analysis and resolution
• Engineer, architect, and optimize SQL/NoSQL databases
• Integrate and manage cloud platform services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Develop RESTful APIs and support full‑stack application development
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and monitor production performance

What you’ll bring

• 7.5 years experience in MySQL Database Administration
• 15 years full‑time education

• Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• EDB Certified PostgreSQL Associate
• MongoDB Certified Developer
