About the role
Public Cloud Services DevOps & Automation team builds, automates, and operates enterprise‑scale solutions on Google Cloud Platform. The Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer leads IaC and automation initiatives, designs CI/CD pipelines, implements cloud security, and mentors junior engineers while supporting critical GCP services. Remote – India.
What you’ll do
- Lead cloud automation and Infrastructure as Code for GCP services
- Manage ServiceNow incidents and requests with timely resolution
- Develop automation runbooks to improve efficiency and reduce cloud costs
- Enhance CI/CD platforms and Tekton pipelines
- Implement cloud security best practices including vulnerability remediation
- Design and maintain cloud‑native applications using Python, Java, and related technologies
- Mentor junior engineers through knowledge‑sharing sessions
- Participate in on‑call support, incident management, and continuous service improvement
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 to 7 years software engineering, cloud operations, DevOps or SRE experience
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Strong programming in Python
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible for IaC
- Designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud monitoring, observability, and incident management
- Understanding of Linux systems and cloud security
