Senior Cloud Engineer - DevOps & DevSecOps

About the role

BETSOL seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to join a technical pod building and operating cloud portal workloads across Azure and GCP. The role focuses on DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure as code, and automation, with full-stack application support when needed. This is a full-time position based in Bengaluru, India, requiring US Eastern Time working hours.

What you’ll do

• Design and maintain reusable Terraform and Ansible modules for Azure and GCP
• Build and operate scalable, secure Azure and GCP environments including AKS/GKE
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated deployments
• Integrate vulnerability scanning and compliance checks into CI/CD workflows
• Implement proactive monitoring with Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and Log Analytics
• Define and tune SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets aligned to business outcomes
• Contribute to basic portal application code and wire applications into the platform
• Partner with product and engineering teammates in agile ceremonies and post-incident reviews

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Platform Engineering
• Full-stack application exposure including modern JS/TS frontend and REST backend
• Proven expertise in Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP cloud architecture
• Hands-on proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with container security, image scanning, and supply chain security
• Proficiency in scripting using Bash, Python, or PowerShell
• Working fluency with AI-first development practices daily
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
