About the role

Data & Analytics team at EXL drives enterprise‑wide data integration and warehousing to enable actionable insights for New Story. The Lead Assistant Manager will architect and lead BI solutions, design dimensional models, and mentor a team while collaborating with vendors and business stakeholders. Hybrid role based in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, with a blend of onsite and remote work.

What you’ll do

• Provide expert guidance and leadership in Business Intelligence technologies
• Manage and lead data and analytics projects using Power BI and Azure
• Design and develop enterprise data warehouse implementations
• Lead dimensional modeling and define data model standards
• Write complex queries and create tailored reporting solutions
• Collaborate with developers, analysts and business groups to deliver BI solutions
• Maintain and enhance data warehouse platform for efficient reporting
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in BI tools

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Data Science or related field
• Minimum 8 years BI Developer/Architect experience
• Expertise in ETL processes
• Proficient in SQL, SSRS and Power BI
• Experience with Azure data services
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication
• Leadership and team mentoring experience
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
