About the role
Power Electronics Design Lead at L&T Precision Engineering & Systems, Bengaluru. Leads end-to-end development and integration of advanced power electronic systems for renewable energy and industrial automation, overseeing architecture, design, validation, certification, and production support while mentoring engineers. Bengaluru, on-site, relocation assistance offered.
What you’ll do
- Define system architecture and topology for high‑voltage converters
- Lead detailed design, simulation, and PCB layout of power stages
- Conduct thermal, EMI/EMC, and safety validation including HIL testing
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, mechanical, and supply‑chain teams
- Oversee certification, documentation, and production support
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
- 10-15 years power electronics design experience
- MTech in Power Electronics or related field
- Hands‑on with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, Altium
- Experience with AC‑DC, DC‑DC, DC‑AC converters
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC)
- Proven track record from concept to mass production
