About the role
Power Electronics Design Lead at LARSEN & TOUBRO LTD., leading the end-to-end development and integration of advanced power electronic systems for renewable energy and industrial automation. Drives system architecture, detailed design, prototype validation, certification and production support while mentoring engineers and ensuring compliance with global safety standards. What you’ll do
- Lead architecture and integration of power converters and inverters
- Own full product lifecycle from requirements to production support
- Define system specifications and interface requirements
- Collaborate across hardware, software, mechanical and supply‑chain teams
- Ensure compliance with safety and performance standards
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement
What you’ll bring
- 10-15 years power electronics design experience
- MTech in Power Electronics or related field
- Hands‑on experience with MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, LTspice, Altium Designer
- Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61851)
- Experience with AC‑DC, DC‑DC, DC‑AC converters and high‑voltage systems
- Familiarity with embedded firmware development for control (C/C++)
