About the role

Data Management team at Archaea Energy ensures high‑quality, compliant data for safe and efficient operations. The Senior Data Manager safeguards data integrity, enforces governance policies, resolves quality issues, and collaborates with data engineers and business analysts to standardize datasets. Based in Pune, hybrid work model with office and remote days.

What you’ll do

• Act as custodian of data, ensuring integrity, consistency and compliance across the organization
• Enforce data governance policies, standards and regulations
• Assess, report and remediate data quality issues through root‑cause analysis
• Implement data requirements for systems of record and perform input quality checks
• Collaborate with data engineers and business analysts to standardize data
• Provide guidance to business users on data usage, access and policies
• Manage technical changes and controls across systems of record
• Support metadata management and ensure critical datasets are captured

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science or related field
• Experience in data governance, stewardship or management roles
• Proficiency in SQL and handling large datasets
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance in retail and marketing domains
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Analytical mindset focused on data accuracy and process improvement
