About the role
SS&C Technologies, a leading financial services and healthcare technology company, seeks a Lead Business Systems Analyst to join immediately. The role focuses on understanding complex IT systems, databases, and infrastructure, ensuring solutions meet requirements through development and testing lifecycles, and partnering with developers, testers, and business stakeholders. Responsibilities include facilitating workshops, demonstrating solutions, maintaining requirement traceability, managing change, and applying solution analysis techniques such as User Stories, Use Cases, BPMN 2.0, UML, UI Design, Domain Modelling, Logical data modelling, and Business Rules modelling. The analyst will work on integration of multiple systems, including third parties, and use tools like Microsoft Office, JIRA, and Confluence. Domain knowledge in defined contribution/benefit plans, annuity and pension products, personal wealth investments, and platform/wrap account products is preferred.
What you’ll do
- Ensure solutions adhere to requirements through development and testing lifecycle with developers, testers, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and demonstrate solutions via play back.
- Maintain requirement traceability and manage change.
- Analyze solutions using User Stories, Use Cases, BPMN 2.0, UML, and other modelling techniques.
- Collaborate with IT, business, and external partners to integrate complex system architectures.
What you’ll bring
- Understanding of IT systems, databases and infrastructure including complex system architectures involving integration of multiple systems (including third parties).
- Assure solutions adhere to requirements through the development and testing lifecycle via trusted partnerships with developers, testers and business stakeholders.
- Exposure in solution analysis techniques including User Stories, Use Cases, BPMN 2.0, UML Modelling Diagrams, UI Design, Domain Modelling, Logical data modelling and Business Rules modelling.
- Workshop facilitation and solution demonstration ‘play back’.
- Requirement Traceability and change management.
