About the role

Medtronic Engineering team develops next‑generation software for a Robotic Assisted Surgery platform, building real‑time robotics, motion control, visualization and GPU‑accelerated imaging solutions. The Senior Enterprise Software Engineer designs, implements and verifies C++ code, ensures regulatory compliance, and collaborates with robotics, clinical and quality teams to deliver safe surgical software. Hyderabad, India, on‑site work model.

What you’ll do

• Contribute across product lifecycle from requirements to release
• Create software design, implementation and verification artifacts
• Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards
• Support risk management and cybersecurity activities
• Conduct code reviews and improve architecture
• Participate in delivery planning and process efficiency

What you’ll bring

• 8-10 years C++ development
• 3+ years customer‑facing product experience
• B.E/BTech in Computer Science or related field
• Strong object‑oriented design and multithreading
• Linux/Windows development environment
• DevOps CI/CD tooling (GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins)
• Application security and secure design practices

Nice to have

• C++ (14/17)
• OpenGL, CUDA, GPU programming
• WPF/MVVM
• Control systems and robotics knowledge
• Medical device regulatory knowledge (FDA, ISO 62304)
