About the role
Central Advanced Packaging (CAP) team at Marvell drives next‑generation high‑speed IC package development that underpins data infrastructure across enterprise, cloud and AI. The engineer leads package creation from concept through tapeout, designing C4 and BGA ball maps, planning netlist mappings, and authoring package requirement documents while collaborating with architects, simulation and board teams. Bangalore, on‑site role with Marvell’s inclusive, collaborative workstyle.
What you’ll do
- Develop packages from concept to tapeout
- Create and optimize C4 and BGA ball maps
- Plan and validate netlist mappings across dies and substrates
- Maintain Package Requirement Documents
- Collaborate with cross‑functional global teams
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years IC package development
- Experience with C4 and BGA ball maps
- Proficiency in Cadence OrbitIO/Integrity
- Strong SI/PI fundamentals
- Knowledge of 2D/2.5D/CoWoS packaging
Nice to have
- Experience developing netlists for complex packages
- Familiarity with thermal and mechanical constraints
- Scripting for automation
