About the role
Deputy Project Director Civil leads civil engineering for metro rail BIDs, overseeing construction, quality, contracts, safety, and stakeholder coordination to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
What you’ll do
- Assist Project Director in overseeing civil engineering aspects of metro projects
- Supervise civil construction activities including tunnels, viaducts, stations
- Ensure quality standards and implement quality control procedures
- Track progress against schedule and recommend corrective actions
- Support contract administration and change order handling
- Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations
- Plan and allocate resources for civil works
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, authorities and stakeholders
