About the role
The Chief Transformation Office's International Change team seeks a Project Manager to deliver regulatory and strategic risk initiatives for Climate Risk, ESG, Credit, and Market Risk. Based in Mumbai, the role involves managing project scope, resources, and stakeholder communication while ensuring adherence to governance protocols. This is an on-site position requiring 5-8 years of experience.
What you’ll do
- Agreeing project scope with senior stakeholders and managing it throughout the lifecycle
- Managing delivery team resources and creating defendable project plans
- Defining success criteria and ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Monitoring cross-project dependencies that may impact delivery
- Ensuring delivery aligns with Nomura's project management governance protocols
- Managing stakeholder relationships and articulating project status clearly
- Reporting project status, issues, and risks to management and governance forums
- Interpreting regulatory requirements to manage scoping of business requirements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, or related field
- 5-8 years of work experience as a Project Manager
- Experience in Credit and/or Market Risk management
- Understanding of front-to-back risk business processes
- Knowledge of risk management for broker-dealer investment banks
Nice to have
- Knowledge of ESG/sustainability regulations and their impact on financial services
- Familiarity with tools like Confluence and JIRA
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
- Proven experience in requirements elicitation and translation to functional specifications
