About the role

Carrier Global AI Engineering team drives AI-powered transformation across the software development lifecycle. The Lead Engineer designs, builds, and governs enterprise AI platforms that enhance requirements engineering, code generation, testing, and modernization. Works onsite in Hyderabad, collaborating with global engineering units and technology partners to deliver AI accelerators and mentor engineering talent.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and enhance AI-powered engineering platforms and accelerators
  • Drive AI roadmap for requirements, design, coding, testing, and modernization
  • Define reusable AI architectures, frameworks, and standards
  • Establish AI governance frameworks and best practices
  • Partner with business units to identify AI transformation opportunities
  • Lead and mentor engineers and AI specialists

What you’ll bring

  • Experience building enterprise AI products or internal engineering platforms
  • Experience working with global engineering teams and multiple business units
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Engineering, or related discipline
