About the role
Digital Design Engineering at onsemi drives next‑generation power and sensing solutions for automotive and industrial markets. The Sr Manager leads a team of DfT and Test Engineers, defining DfT techniques, ATE platforms, and test automation tools to reduce cost and improve coverage across digital, analog, and mixed‑signal products. Based in Bangalore, India, the role is on‑site with occasional travel to other regional hubs.
What you’ll do
- Drive state‑of‑the‑art DfTs for coverage and cost
- Define new ATE platforms and test method libraries
- Develop test automation tools for NPDE and Cost Entitlement teams
- Define test flows and silicon characterization requirements
- Identify gaps and best practices to improve processes
- Collaborate with Design, DfT, and PE teams
- Guide product validation and execution
- Influence product development across shops
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years in DfT/Test Engineering
- Experience with ATE platforms
- Knowledge of digital, analog, and mixed‑signal test methods
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Familiarity with industry protocols and standards
- Experience managing cross‑functional teams
