About the role

Global Security Operations (GSO) at Novo Nordisk safeguards critical healthcare systems by detecting, responding to, and preventing cyber threats. The Cyber Security Specialist oversees incident response, conducts threat hunting, and mentors Level 1 analysts using SIEM tools and forensic techniques. Bangalore, Karnataka, India, on-site, hybrid schedule possible.

What you’ll do

• Oversee enterprise security incidents and response
• Detect and analyze malicious emails and network threats
• Collaborate with Vulnerability Management Office on critical responses
• Perform forensic investigations and containment
• Guide Level 1 analysts and improve processes
• Conduct threat hunting and incident drills
• Maintain incident response technology stack
• Recommend enhancements to response procedures

What you’ll bring

• 6-8 years IT security experience
• 6 years incident response
• Strong networking knowledge
• SIEM (Splunk) expertise
• Malware analysis and forensics
• PowerShell scripting
• AWS/Azure cloud security
• Bachelor's in engineering

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
