About the role

Product Security Team at Masimo focuses on safeguarding connected medical devices and digital health technologies. The Cyber Security Specialist supports vulnerability monitoring, risk assessments, SBOM maintenance, and regulatory documentation across the product lifecycle. Bengaluru, India office, on-site work model.

What you’ll do

• Support product cybersecurity activities across the development lifecycle
• Identify and assess cybersecurity risks for software, embedded systems, and connected devices
• Monitor vulnerabilities via advisories, databases, and threat intelligence
• Maintain Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) records and related documentation
• Assist with risk assessments and secure development lifecycle implementation
• Track remediation actions and support post‑market vulnerability monitoring
• Prepare metrics, dashboards, and reports on product cybersecurity
• Assist internal training and awareness on cybersecurity best practices

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 0-4 years of experience in cybersecurity, software security, or vulnerability management
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles and secure software development practices
• Familiarity with vulnerability databases such as CVE and NVD
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and compliance teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
