About the role
Amgen seeks a Senior Associate Software Engineer to join the Operations Generative AI Product team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on full‑stack development of GEN AI web applications for Process Development functions (Drug Substance, Product, Attribute Sciences, Combination Products). Responsibilities include building front‑end interfaces with React, Angular, Fast API and back‑end services in Python, Java or Node.js, integrating APIs, serverless and microservices, and ensuring high performance and uptime. The engineer will collaborate with design and product teams, write clean, test‑driven code, participate in code reviews, and stay current with Prompt Engineering, AI tools, and Retrieval‑augmented Generation frameworks. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma with 3–5, 1–3 or 7–9 years of full‑stack experience respectively, and a Cloud Computing certificate is preferred.
