Associate Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Global Payments team builds payment technology platforms that enable millions of transactions worldwide. The role develops and maintains .Net based applications, writes unit tests, ensures PCI compliance, and collaborates with Agile teams to deliver cloud‑native services. Pune, India, on‑site, 100% office presence.

What you’ll do

• Develop basic to moderately complex code using front or back end languages within a platform
• Create and deliver program specifications for code development and support
• Perform unit testing, testing and validation for code changes
• Apply PCI security compliance procedures and methodologies
• Analyze, modify, and document application code
• Collaborate with business and technology teams on client software solutions

What you’ll bring

• BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business/Management Information Systems or related field
• 4+ years professional experience in coding, designing, developing and analyzing data with .Net technology stack

Nice to have

• Experience with .Net frameworks, .Net Core, C#, Web API, Angular, Micro Services, JavaScript, JSON, HTML
• Proficiency in MS SQL Server/Cloud SQL, stored procedures, ORM frameworks
• Knowledge of GitHub, branching strategies, code management platforms
• Familiarity with CSS, YAML, backend services, webjobs, cloud functions, jQuery, Pub/Sub, messaging frameworks
• Experience with SPA, Datadog or APM tools, CI/CD tools like Google Cloud Build/Deploy
• Node.js, React or other JS frameworks (nice to have)
• Cloud development using GCP (plus Azure, AWS)
• Agile methodology experience and security vulnerability remediation
