About the role

Software Engineering team at Amgen builds scalable enterprise applications supporting biotech research and product delivery. The Senior Associate Software Engineer designs, develops, and deploys full‑stack solutions, integrates AI/ML models, and ensures security and reliability across cloud and on‑prem environments. Hyderabad office, on-site work model, with occasional off‑hours support as needed.

What you’ll do

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain full‑stack applications
• Build front‑end UI components using React and Vite
• Create back‑end APIs with FastAPI and integrate with data services
• Implement cloud‑native architectures on AWS and manage containers
• Collaborate with product, UX, data, and security teams to deliver secure solutions
• Contribute to code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps practices
• Support model‑serving APIs and MLOps processes for AI features

What you’ll bring

• 5–9 years experience in software engineering
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, Vite, FastAPI
• Experience with AWS services and containerization (Docker, ECS/EKS)
• Hands‑on with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Knowledge of application security tools (Veracode, Snyk, SonarQube)
