Senior Software Engineer - Java

About the role

YASH Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Java to join its product development team in Pune, India. The role involves collaborating with product scrum teams and digital product owners to analyze business needs, design, develop, deliver, deploy, and support digital products. Day-to-day work includes applying system development methodologies to build high-complexity solutions, maintaining documentation, providing production support, and following Agile practices. The position requires 3+ years of product development experience with technologies such as Typescript, Node, Java, OAuth2, REST, and AWS.

What you’ll do

• Works closely with product scrum teams and digital product owners on the analysis of business needs, design, develop, deliver, deploy and support product
• Work on understanding requirements, apply system development methodology to identify, analyze, design, build, configure, test, and deploy solutions of high complexity
• Strong understanding of software development to draw out specifications for integrated solutions
• Drives collaboration across teams and business stakeholders across products
• Follows Agile software methodology for software development
• Maintains system documentation and keeps it relevant as needed
• Provides production support for the products including all integrations and customizations
• Ability to learn, adapt latest and legacy tech stack as per enterprise guidelines and product needs

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience with product development utilizing technologies such as Typescript, Node, Java, OAuth2, REST & AWS
• Good understanding of API development and microservices
• Good understanding of AWS, with exposure to services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, ECS, DynamoDB, RDS, S3, CloudWatch
• Hands-on experience with unit, integration, and performance testing
• Experience with CI/CD and monitoring technologies like GitHub Actions, Jenkins
• 2+ years of work experience in an Agile team environment
• Skilled in interpersonal communication
• Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience (University Degree, 4 years or equivalent)
