About the role
Hardware team at EnCharge AI builds next‑generation AI and Data Center SoCs. The Senior Staff / Principal SOC Floorplan Lead owns end‑to‑end floorplanning, collaborates with architecture and RTL teams, and drives bump, power‑grid and analog routing strategies to achieve best‑in‑class PPA. Bangalore office, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Own top‑level SoC floorplan from concept to tape‑out
- Partner with architecture and RTL to provide physical feasibility feedback
- Lead bump planning and IO ring definition
- Design power delivery network for high‑current AI workloads
- Manage macro placement, pin assignment and feedthrough planning
- Develop scalable floorplanning workflows and automation scripts
- Coordinate with packaging teams on advanced packaging constraints
- Ensure timing and routing congestion optimization
What you’ll bring
- 12+ years physical design floorplanning
- 3+ years lead ownership of SoC floorplans
- Experience with 5nm/3nm nodes
- Cadence Innovus expertise
- Bump and flip‑chip package co‑design
- Analog/mixed‑signal IP integration
- Scripting in Tcl, Python, Perl
- Multi‑die/chiplet integration knowledge
