About the role
Weekday AI client procurement team manages technology sourcing to ensure cost-effective, compliant acquisition of IT hardware, software, and cloud services. The Procurement Engineer oversees the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle, negotiates contracts, and collaborates with IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations stakeholders. Pune, India, on-site, full-time role with relocation assistance available.
What you’ll do
- Manage complete procurement lifecycle for IT products and services
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and SLAs with vendors
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure timely fulfillment
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation
- Identify and implement process optimizations and cost‑reduction initiatives
What you’ll bring
- 3+ years IT procurement experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Supply Chain, Business or related field
- Experience with hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services procurement
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with ERP or procurement management systems
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
