Tech Lead - Data Engineering

About the role

Lead Data Engineer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and infrastructure. Oversees a team of engineers, mentors staff, and collaborates with data scientists, analysts, and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions. Designs ETL/ELT workflows using Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Databricks, ensuring data quality, governance, and compliance. Optimizes performance, reduces latency, and evaluates emerging technologies. Works closely with infrastructure teams to secure and monitor data platforms. Stays current with industry trends to drive continuous improvement.

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Strong proficiency with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
• Hands‑on expertise in Python/PySpark and data manipulation libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
• Solid knowledge of relational (SQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Elasticsearch).
