About the role
Revenue Accounting team at Fivetran builds and maintains reliable revenue recognition processes for the data integration platform. The Senior Revenue Accountant executes month‑end close in NetSuite, reviews contracts for ASC 606 compliance, designs automation solutions, and supports SOX controls. Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, hybrid (2 days onsite per week).
What you’ll do
- Execute monthly accounting close activities and journal entries in NetSuite
- Review closed contracts for ASC 606 revenue implications
- Draft technical accounting memos and support audit readiness
- Prepare system reconciliations and investigate variances
- Assist design, data integration, and testing of NetSuite ARM
- Support SOX walkthroughs and internal control testing
- Identify process improvements and drive automation
- Participate in ad‑hoc audit and project initiatives
What you’ll bring
- 8-11 years revenue or public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606
- Experience in high‑growth SaaS companies
- Advanced Excel with large datasets
- NetSuite, Salesforce, Stripe, SQL familiarity
- Meticulous, organized, process‑oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Self‑starter with ownership mindset
