About the role
Qualcomm CPU Software Engineering team drives high‑performance, low‑power CPU software across product segments. The Senior Engineer leverages CPU architecture expertise to develop, optimize, and benchmark software, collaborating with CPU, compiler, and kernel teams as well as external partners. Role based in Bangalore with on‑site work model, focusing on performance optimization and pre/post‑silicon verification.
What you’ll do
- Develop and optimize CPU software for performance and power efficiency
- Run and analyze benchmarks for pre‑ and post‑silicon validation
- Create new benchmarks for emerging workloads
- Evaluate optimization opportunities across libraries, compilers, and runtimes
- Collaborate with internal CPU, compiler, kernel teams and external benchmark vendors
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years software engineering experience
- Proficiency in C/C++/Assembly/Python/JavaScript
- Deep understanding of Linux internals and device drivers
- Strong knowledge of computer architecture and OS concepts
