Senior Software Engineer

About the role

YASH Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Python + ReactJS + AWS) in Pune, India, to join its engineering team and help develop and maintain various software products. Day-to-day work includes writing and testing Python code, debugging programs, integrating applications with third-party web services, and building full-stack solutions using Django/FastAPI/Flask backends with React.js frontends. The role also involves cloud deployment on AWS, DevOps practices, and collaboration within an agile, inclusive team environment.

What you’ll do

• Write and test Python code for various software products
• Debug programs and resolve issues
• Integrate applications with third-party web services
• Develop and maintain backend services using Django, FastAPI, or Flask
• Build frontend interfaces using React.js and Redux
• Design and implement RESTful APIs with proper authentication and security
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud platforms
• Apply DevOps practices including version control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization

What you’ll bring

• 4-6 years of experience
• Strong Python fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
• Backend framework expertise in Django (ORM, authentication, REST APIs, DRF), FastAPI, or Flask
• RESTful API development with authentication & security (JWT, OAuth2, CORS, SQL injection prevention)
• Frontend skills in React.js and Redux
• Database & ORM knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Django ORM, SQLAlchemy)
• DevOps & deployment skills: Git, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Docker/Docker Compose, AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda), web servers (Nginx, Apache)
• Testing & debugging proficiency (Pytest, Django Test Framework, Chrome DevTools, Postman, logging)

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js for backend development
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals beyond frontend frameworks
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture
• Experience with WebSockets (Django Channels, Socket.io)
• Familiarity with message brokers (Celery, RabbitMQ)
• Basic knowledge of GCP or Heroku
• Agile/Scrum methodology experience
• Data library basics (Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib)
