About the role
WSP’s Design Management team drives integrated design delivery for large‑scale metro and rail projects. The Senior Consultant coordinates multidisciplinary interfaces, manages design risks, and ensures outputs meet programme, budget and quality targets. Based in Bengaluru, the role operates in a hybrid model with on‑site collaboration and remote flexibility.
What you’ll do
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design delivery across all project stages
- Manage design interfaces, risks, issues and changes
- Support design planning, coordination and governance
- Participate in design reviews and technical coordination forums
- Collaborate with internal teams, external consultants and stakeholders
- Provide technical guidance to junior staff
- Maintain design documentation and audit trail
- Ensure compliance with standards and client requirements
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor of Engineering or Technology
- Experience in metro/rail infrastructure design
- Strong design coordination skills
- Proficiency in design review and QA/QC processes
Nice to have
- Chartered or pursuing chartership
- Experience managing design interfaces across engineering, architecture and specialist disciplines
- Knowledge of Safe by Design and HSE requirements
