Facilities & Workplace Experience Manager

About the role

Facilities & Workplace Experience team at Kinaxis leads the end‑to‑end workplace experience for the Chennai office, ensuring a safe, efficient and engaging environment. The manager drives facilities operations, security, vendor management and compliance within a SEZ, while supporting employee onboarding, events and wellness programs. Remote work model, based in Chennai, India, with occasional on‑site coordination for leadership visits and facility projects.

What you’ll do

• Lead and continuously improve workplace experience and operations
• Oversee housekeeping, pantry, front‑desk and security services
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure SEZ compliance
• Coordinate employee onboarding/offboarding and workspace readiness
• Plan and execute leadership visits, events and wellness programs
• Supervise cafeteria operations and food safety standards
• Track budgets, operational expenditures and cost optimization
• Develop and maintain health, safety and business continuity plans

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years facilities management experience
• Hands‑on housekeeping, security and workplace services
• Vendor management and contract negotiation
• Experience in SEZ compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, fire safety)
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
• Proficiency in Excel and financial tracking
• Project management of renovations and space planning
