Manager, Workplace & Facilities Operations

About the role

Join DoorDash’s Real Estate and Workplace Operations (REWO) team to design and operate functional spaces that empower employees in Hyderabad. This overnight role leads day-to-day facilities management, vendor relations, and team leadership while ensuring safety and operational efficiency. The position requires on-site presence five days a week with occasional weekend work.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop the on-site Workplace and Facilities team
• Manage vendor relationships for food, beverages, and essential services
• Oversee site operating budget and cost-saving initiatives
• Ensure facilities meet local regulations, safety standards, and policies
• Coordinate office events reflecting company culture
• Partner with Global Operations Center on crisis scenarios and business continuity
• Support space planning and real estate lease renewals
• Deliver regular updates on operations, projects, and KPIs to leadership

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of workplace leadership experience
• Experience managing insourced/outsourced teams
• Strong vendor and contractor management skills
• Proficiency in budget management and financial tracking
• Hands-on experience with Google Suite, Jira, Coupa, Slack, Excel
