About the role

Microchip Technology Accounting team maintains Indian and US GAAP books, drives month/quarter/year-end closes, and handles vendor invoicing, fixed assets, and statutory audits. The Analyst/Sr Analyst ensures high‑quality month‑end activities, processes employee reimbursements, and supports TDS/GST returns using an accounting ERP. Hyderabad, India, on-site role.

What you’ll do

• Maintain accounting books per Indian and US GAAP
• Participate in month, quarter, and year‑end close processes
• Ensure timely, high‑quality month‑end activities
• Process employee reimbursements and travel bills per HR policies
• Handle day‑to‑day vendor invoice processing with approvals
• Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation
• Review accounts payable general ledger
• Support TDS/GST returns and statutory remittances
• Coordinate internal, statutory, and tax audits with audit firms

What you’ll bring

• Graduation in commerce or PG in Commerce or MBA Finance
• 5 years accounting and finance experience
• Proficient advanced Excel and report generation
• Experience with accounting ERP
• Knowledge of Indian GAAP and US GAAP
• Familiarity with TDS/GST returns and statutory remittances
• Experience handling internal, statutory, and tax audits with Big Four
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
