About the role

Assistant Vice President – GCP Solution Architect at EXL. Lead design and implementation of end‑to‑end Google Cloud Platform solutions for contact center and AI‑driven experiences. Responsible for creating scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient architectures, producing high‑level and low‑level design documents, and establishing best‑practice guidelines. Spearhead integration of GCP services such as Agent Workspace, Dialogflow CX, Contact Center AI, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, GKE, and Cloud Functions. Architect customer journeys, voice and chat flows, and virtual agent integrations, while defining API strategies for third‑party CRMs and ticketing systems. Collaborate closely with product teams, stakeholders, and engineering to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions. Mentor and guide development teams on GCP architecture and deployment best practices. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, drive initiatives to improve latency, reliability, and availability, and perform cost optimization and capacity planning for GCP services.

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent
5+ years experience in GCP solution architecture
Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect

Nice to have

Contact Center AI & Dialogflow CX certification
Experience with GCP services: Agent Workspace, Dialogflow CX, CC AI, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Vertex AI, GKE, Cloud Functions
CI/CD pipeline expertise (Cloud Build, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
Infrastructure as code with Terraform or Deployment Manager
Knowledge of PCI, GDPR, HIPAA compliance
