About the role

EXL seeks an Assistant Vice President for its Capability Development department in Noida, India. This role leads enterprise-wide talent and capability initiatives, focusing on innovation management and partnering with business and tech leaders to deliver outcomes. The position operates on a Hybrid work model.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and manage HR professionals in talent development and capability enhancement
  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define and meet talent needs
  • Design and implement innovative talent management programs for attraction and retention
  • Conduct talent reviews and assessments to identify skill gaps and improvements
  • Develop and execute enterprise-wide capability development plans aligned with business objectives
  • Collaborate with HR functions to ensure seamless employee experience from recruitment to retention
  • Provide thought leadership and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to talent management

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field; Master's preferred
  • 8-10 years experience in HR leadership, talent management, and capability development
  • Proven track record leading enterprise-wide talent initiatives in innovative environments
  • Strong partnership skills with ability to build relationships with business and tech leaders

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex ideas clearly
  • Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and talent analytics
