Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Product Development team at Limelight Software builds a modern FP&A SaaS platform for finance teams. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will design and build a Playwright‑based test automation framework, own end‑to‑end quality across UI, API and backend layers, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Remote work from Pune, India, collaborating with developers and product managers to ensure reliability of financial modeling and AI‑driven features.

What you’ll do

• Design and build test automation framework using Playwright
• Own end‑to‑end quality across UI, API, and backend layers
• Combine automated testing with manual and exploratory testing for financial calculations
• Write, maintain, and scale automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD
• Tackle flaky tests, test data management, and environment stability
• Partner with product development on requirements and release readiness
• Champion early quality in the development cycle
• Manage test cases, defects, and documentation in Jira and Confluence
