About the role
PCS Management Business Line at Infineon Technologies designs and manufactures PWM controllers, power stages and integrated Point‑of‑Load products for AI, communications and industrial markets. As Lead Principal Engineer Design you will lead power‑management IC and MCM design, define architecture, mentor designers and drive DFT and production test strategies. Bangalore, India, on‑site work model.
What you’ll do
- Define feature set, chip architecture, resourcing, schedule and cost with cross‑functional teams
- Mentor less experienced designers in mixed‑signal design practices
- Develop DFT strategy and implement DFT designs
- Support production test development and ramp‑up to production
- Design low‑power/high‑performance analog circuits and power‑management modules
- Perform full IC analog/mixed‑signal design from concept to production
What you’ll bring
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering
- 15+ years IC design experience
- Strong analog and mixed‑signal design background
- Experience leading design teams
- Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and mixed‑signal suite
- Experience with Power Management ICs and BCD technologies
