Senior Cloud Platform Engineer

About the role

Endava seeks a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer in Bengaluru to architect and operate the client’s AWS engineering platform. This hands-on role involves designing secure infrastructure, managing Kubernetes clusters, and enabling developer productivity through CI/CD and observability tools. The position focuses on scaling cloud-native practices while mentoring teams on best practices.

What you’ll do

• Design and implement secure multi-account structures and landing zones across AWS
• Manage and evolve multi-cloud IAM, SSO, and RBAC for least-privilege access
• Lead deployment and scaling of Kubernetes clusters including EKS and GKE
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and GitOps workflows
• Develop modular templates using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Establish monitoring and observability for infrastructure and applications
• Administer shared engineering tools like SonarQube, Polaris, and Trino
• Enable developers by providing onboarding standards and troubleshooting support

What you’ll bring

• 8+ years in Cloud Engineering, SRE, or DevOps with deep AWS/GCP proficiency
• Expert-level Linux and Windows Server administration skills
• Proven experience running production-grade Kubernetes workloads at scale
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash for automation
• Solid understanding of VPC/VNet design and zero-trust security models

Nice to have

• Experience designing monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK
• Background in migrating legacy applications into containerized microservices
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect Professional or CKA
