About the role
Plug Power’s Supply Chain team seeks a Planner to coordinate product build schedules and maintain ERP systems, ensuring material supply continuity for manufacturing operations. The role involves processing orders, managing planning parameters, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet production and delivery targets in Pune, India. This is a full-time, on-site position requiring strong organizational and data entry skills.
What you’ll do
- Maintain planning parameters and procedures in the ERP database
- Process sales orders, transfer orders, and unplanned parts requests
- Communicate material shortages to Production and Supply Chain teams
- Coordinate product line logistics and warehouse activities
- Partner with engineering to manage deviations to standard material requirements
- Identify ERP system change requests and process improvement opportunities
- Assist in non-routine inventory investigations to identify root causes
- Provide occasional administrative support for Lead Planners
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
- Strong data entry skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
