About the role

Digital Design team at NXP India leads architecture and integration of automotive Ethernet PHY digital subsystems. The role drives micro‑architecture, RTL implementation, safety compliance and cross‑functional collaboration across firmware, analog and validation groups. Bangalore, on-site, Full-time.

What you’ll do

• Define and own digital subsystem micro‑architecture for automotive Ethernet PHYs
• Develop high‑quality RTL and drive front‑end flows including lint, CDC/RDC and timing optimization
• Translate system requirements and IEEE specs into robust digital designs
• Ensure compliance with Automotive Ethernet standards and ISO 26262 safety mechanisms
• Collaborate with firmware, analog, and validation teams for integration and bring‑up
• Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decisions across the digital team

What you’ll bring

• Masters in Electrical or Computer Engineering
• 12+ years digital design for PHY/SerDes
• Verilog/SystemVerilog RTL expertise
• High‑speed digital logic and state machines
• IEEE 802.3 Ethernet PCS knowledge
• Synthesis, STA, CDC/RDC experience
• Multiple production tape‑outs
