About the role
Technical Product Owner – CLM at Barclays Capital Securities leads the vision and execution of client lifecycle management solutions. Collaborating with product owners, developers, and stakeholders, the role defines and prioritizes product backlogs, translates business requirements into technical deliverables, and ensures alignment with regulatory and risk frameworks. The owner drives Agile ceremonies, monitors performance, and implements continuous improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills are essential, along with experience in client onboarding, due diligence, and core banking systems. The position requires a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, deep knowledge of banking applications, and proficiency in SDLC practices. The role is based in Mumbai, India, and is a full‑time, on‑site position.

- Provide subject‑matter expertise to product owner & technical teams.
- Support development & implementation of product strategy & vision.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather & prioritize product requirements.
- Develop & implement assessments for continuous testing & improvement.
- Monitor product performance & identify optimization opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry tech trends & adopt new approaches.
- Lead Agile ceremonies & ensure alignment of progress with objectives.
- Mentor team members & promote best practices.
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor's/Master's in CS/Engineering or equivalent.
- Understand technical & business architecture of projects.
- Interpret requirements & design end-to-end solutions.
- Strong grasp of data structures, quality issues, flows.
- Knowledge of SDLC.
- Proven experience in financial services, complex environments.
- Deep knowledge of banking apps & modules like Client On-boarding, CRM.
Nice to have
- Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Visio, ServiceNow, Agile.
- Experience in large IT orgs supporting mission-critical systems.
- Basic hands-on Oracle PL/SQL scripting.
