What you’ll do

• Own and deliver high‑impact technical charters across multiple teams
• Design and build scalable, reliable distributed systems
• Lead architecture and technical strategy for platform and backend initiatives
• Partner with product, infrastructure, security, and data stakeholders
• Make high‑quality decisions on scale, performance, and reliability
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across the organization

What you’ll bring

• 15+ years software engineering experience
• Deep hands‑on experience with backend languages such as Python, Java, Go, C++
• Proven track record designing and operating large‑scale distributed systems
• Strong architecture and system design expertise across APIs, databases, and observability
• Ability to lead ambiguous, cross‑functional technical initiatives end‑to‑end
• Mentorship experience guiding staff and senior engineers
