About the role
EXL Health's Strategy team drives transformation in healthcare payment integrity. The Assistant Vice President leads strategic analysis, business transformation projects, and growth planning for payer and provider clients, delivering data‑driven insights and M&A research. Based in Chennai, India, this role works on-site at the EXL office.
What you’ll do
- Conduct in‑depth strategic analysis and develop data‑driven insights
- Lead business transformation initiatives and optimize workflows
- Formulate growth‑focused strategies and market expansion plans
- Develop and refine account strategies for client relationships
- Perform M&A research, due diligence, and recommendation delivery
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and emerging opportunities
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and client stakeholders
- Present strategic recommendations to senior leadership
What you’ll bring
- Bachelor’s or MBA degree
- 5+ years healthcare strategy or consulting experience
- Knowledge of healthcare systems and financial models
- Proficiency with Excel, Tableau, SQL
- Strong leadership and project management skills
- Ability to work across time zones and cultures
