About the role

Banking Operations team at EXL ensures compliance with U.S. financial regulations and smooth back‑office processing. The Assistant Vice President leads regulatory reporting, oversees end‑to‑end transaction processing, and drives automation initiatives using RPA and Alteryx. Bengaluru, hybrid work model, relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Oversee regulatory reporting and ensure timely filings
• Manage core banking operations including ACH, wire transfers, and settlements
• Supervise transaction processing, reconciliations, and corporate actions
• Drive automation initiatives using RPA and workflow tools
• Mentor junior team members and lead strategic initiatives

What you’ll bring

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
• 15+ years banking or broker‑dealer operations experience
• Expertise in U.S. regulatory frameworks (SEC, FINRA, OFR, Federal Reserve)

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Excel, SQL, Alteryx, Power BI
• Strong analytical and data management skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
