Senior Quality Analyst

About the role

Thoughtworks seeks a Senior Quality Analyst to embed quality mindsets across delivery stages in Bangalore or Chennai. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to advocate for risk mitigation, perform exploratory testing, and build automated suites. The position is On-site.

What you’ll do

• Advocate for shifting quality left and mitigating risks early
• Collaborate with teammates to embed quality from ideation to usage
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential risks
• Suggest improvements to code, tests, and frameworks
• Examine end-to-end processes and test coverage across tech stacks
• Create reliable automated testing suites to analyze failures
• Coach client teams to adopt a quality mindset
• Mentor junior QAs and speak at conferences

What you’ll bring

• Experience as a Quality Analyst within development teams
• Proficiency in agile, code management, and release strategies
• Familiarity with TDD, BDD, CI/CD, and Test Pyramid models
• Ability to suggest architectural changes for on-premise and cloud environments
• Skill in functional, performance, and security testing
• Knowledge of leveraging metrics like lead time and deployment frequency

Nice to have

• Designing comprehensive quality strategies for teams
• Understanding user experience research including prototyping and AB testing
• Coaching clients and junior QAs on quality practices
