Senior Program Coordinator

About the role

Jhpiego, an international non-profit health organization affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, leads the Integrated TB–Tobacco Screening and Referral Program in Himachal Pradesh. The Senior Program Coordinator drives district-level planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring, working with district health authorities and multiple government stakeholders. Based in Himachal Pradesh, India, on-site role with extensive field travel (70-80% of the time).

What you’ll do

• Lead district-level implementation of TB–Tobacco program
• Develop implementation plans and microplans with health authorities
• Coordinate activities across health facilities and community sites
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and maintain government relationships
• Plan and conduct trainings, supportive supervision, and mentorship
• Oversee digital platform usage and data reporting
• Monitor field activities, collect data, and prepare reports
• Coordinate logistics for trainings and supervisory visits

What you’ll bring

• Master's in Social Work or related field
• 0-2 years public health program implementation experience
• Experience with large-scale government health programs preferred
• Stakeholder coordination and field implementation skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and digital reporting platforms
• Fluency in Hindi and English
