Technical Product Owner

About the role

Fraud Technology at Barclays drives innovative fraud solutions for UK and International markets. As a Technical Product Owner you will shape and prioritize fraud detection initiatives, create user stories, data specifications, and support agile ceremonies while collaborating with stakeholders and development squads. Based in Pune, India, on-site work model, with relocation assistance available.

What you’ll do

• Provide subject‑matter expertise bridging product and technical teams
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements
• Develop and implement product strategy and roadmap
• Monitor product performance and identify optimization opportunities
• Lead risk mitigation and control strengthening initiatives
• Guide testing function development within corporate fraud detection
• Communicate complex information to diverse audiences
• Influence stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes

What you’ll bring

• Hands‑on fraud detection product delivery
• Experience in corporate/wholesale banking domain
• Create business outcomes, user stories and non‑functional requirements
• Develop data requirement specifications and dictionaries
• Support agile ceremonies and stakeholder management
• Strong data analysis and influence using data
• Proficiency with JIRA
• AI‑assisted functional and technical spec development
