About the role

Asset and Wealth Management Technology Team at JPMorgan Chase drives AI excellence across financial services. The Director leads the Applied AI/GenAI ML effort, defining reference architectures, building reusable LLM components, and overseeing MLOps pipelines while guiding cross‑functional agile teams. Bengaluru, India, on-site, Full-time role with senior leadership responsibilities and budget ownership.

What you’ll do

• Define and own reference architectures for agentic AI
• Build reusable LLM components and pipelines
• Implement CI/CD, feature stores, and model monitoring
• Ensure security, compliance, and responsible AI practices
• Lead product vision, roadmap, and multi‑quarter planning
• Manage stakeholder engagement and senior business communication
• Oversee budget, ROI tracking, and vendor management
• Coach teams, remove blockers, and enforce engineering standards

What you’ll bring

• 10+ years applied AI/ML experience
• 5+ years leading technical teams
• Hands‑on Python with PyTorch or TensorFlow
• Building agentic AI and LLM orchestration
• Designing APIs/microservices for LLM integration
• Data engineering for structured/unstructured data
• Cloud deployment on AWS or Azure
• MLOps expertise (CI/CD, model governance)
