About the role

Supply Chain Management team at Flextronics oversees end‑to‑end planning, development and execution of supply chain processes for new and existing products. The Assistant Manager directs supply chain managers, collaborates with executives, customers and vendors, and drives strategies to meet customer requirements while maintaining financial performance. Chennai, India, on-site role with occasional travel for supplier and customer engagements.

What you’ll do

• Directs activities of supply chain managers and staff, overseeing planning, budgeting and cost maintenance
• Participates in reviewing vendor and customer contracts, outlining requirements
• Provides supplier management for product development and integration
• Interacts regularly with executives, customers and vendors
• Drives supply chain strategies to meet customer requirements and financial goals

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years supply chain management experience, including supervision
