About the role

Supply Chain Management Team at Tata Communications oversees end‑to‑end procurement and vendor operations to ensure service availability and cost efficiency. The Assistant Manager drives sourcing initiatives, contract management, and operational excellence for POP site assets and fiber network projects. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on‑site role with hybrid collaboration across internal teams.

What you’ll do

• Participate in procurement, vendor management, negotiation, and sourcing initiatives to ensure service availability
• Manage AMC renewal and end‑of‑life replacement of infra assets at POP sites
• Implement operational excellence projects such as touchless PO and catalogue preparation
• Prepare monthly dashboards and reports for project performance
• Engage with internal teams to define requirements and ensure SLA compliance
• Review logistics, inventory, and supply chain data to identify bottlenecks
• Negotiate contracts and maintain vendor compliance with policies

What you’ll bring

• Bachelor Degree in engineering or business or equivalent
• 3-6 years of experience in supply chain or indirect sourcing
