About the role
Branch Control Unit (BCU) drives unified controls, risk and compliance across the bank's branch network. The Regional Head leads a team of 8-12, overseeing operational performance, audit outcomes, fraud mitigation and compliance initiatives through data‑driven dialogue with branches. Based in Lucknow with an on‑site work model, the role reports to the BCU Head and includes relocation assistance.
What you’ll do
- Drive branches to achieve BOHI targets and maintain satisfactory internal audit ratings
- Review and correct deviations in cash processes, gold loans, lockers and other branch operations
- Oversee fraud detection, mitigation and response initiatives
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations and internal control frameworks
- Monitor and close audit and LOC reports, providing monthly red‑flag updates to Circle Heads
- Identify training needs and improve branch staff skill matching
What you’ll bring
- 15-20 years of core banking experience
- Post Graduation from a recognized institute
- Proficiency managing large teams
- Deep understanding of core CBS software
